• True Family caring Run Business

  My family and I wanted to send her heart felt thanks to both you and your son for the way in which you conducted my dad's funeral last October, given his death was not expected we as a family were not sure as to which route was best to take, we had discussed the various options available and given it was the afternoon of his death we knew we had to get things in motion very quickly. The organisation of the funeral was perfect and the horse and carriage was out of this world, we couldn't have asked for more, we were impressed by the fact that you both kept fully updated at all times and given the cost of a funeral today you gave us the best value money could buy. Nothing was too much for you both and given that you are a family run business with not just us to consider and the fact that you had various other funerals ongoing at the time you did your upmost to ensure we were given your undivided attention. The most important point to mention is that given you were not on the recommendation list of funeral directors were are so pleased that we came across to see that we came to you that afternoon and to this end it is nice to know that we were just not a number and that we have kept in touch and still pop in to see my family and I, for a cup of tea and slice of cake! I am absolutely sure to this day that we had made the right decision to go with Waters & Sons being a family run funeral director rather than a large corporation. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending you in anyone who has recently suffered a bereavement and also with the understanding that even though you have suffered a loss Simon and his Son will still be there to comfort and guide you. The aftercare service is next to noon, which is equally important as is sorting of a funeral.

• The personal touch

  In a business full of pre-packaged inpersonal services, it was nice to find the human touch. Simon and his team were with us for the 12 months of the decline of my dad due to cancer and helped us say goodbye to our fantastic dad at a very sad time. Everything was done with immense respect and with dignity, but Simon also shared the smiles with us as they came along in the journey. Everything from the service to the flowers wents smoothly and without any stress, all you can ask for on such a sad day. A fully deserved recomendation.
