• House Sitting

  The service we used was effectively house- and dog-sitting, and I'm very pleased with both! Before the actual weekend, Diane came round to the house at my convenience for an interview about Ben and his / our daily routine to make sure everything continues as usual in our absence. Both questions and paperwork came across as very effective and professional and reassured me from the start that both Ben and my flat were in good hands (especially important after the choke chain surprise in the kennel he went to, and the owners' rather condescending attitude to my reaction). Questions such as where his favourite walks are, when / where / how / what he gets fed, which rooms he has access to, how he reacts to other dogs, children, whether he has any fears, and so on were all designed to make sure that his routine stays exactly the same as usual and that we're completely at ease. I got the impression that any dog's needs would be met and the dog understood well, regardless of what baggage or difficulties s/he brings. All this at an excellent price, especially given how late we rang up! We're also excited to learn about the other services Pampurred Paws offers, such as host families for pets as alternative to kennels, dog walking, pet taxi, and (for completeness' sake) small animal boarding, and we're sure to use the service again.
