A trip to an Open Day at the Hillier Trade Nursery last week was very enjoyable plus I got to network with other designers and landscapers.  I tend to use a variety of different suppliers for my plants but the advantage of Hilliers (apart from that they are local) is the huge range of different trees and shrubs that they grow.  Any client wanting to come with me to select plants is able to see for themselves the quality and help choose different varieties so that they can get involved in the project very directly.
