Emotional Problem Solving was set up due to growing demand for the service to be provided by clients requesting an alternative to medication from their GP's. The NHS have very limited funds and have been insufficient or unable to provide clients in Primary Care with i] a mental health assessment, ii] signposting to suitable agencies, iii] talking therapy that is short, practical, and tailor made to the individual client's needs.
