• Too expensive and staff assume a tip

  We ate here on a 2-4-1 deal to go for a cheap mid week curry Food was very good - even with BOGOF main and sharing rice with one pint beer and one bottle beer - £27! 15% tip was added with no breakdown, and we paid by card and was not asked if we wanted to pay it, it was simply typed in - very bad service, made you feel you could not say no!! Also, £3.95 for pilau rice?! Never seen it so expensive! We will not be returning which is a shame as the food was very good

• Great Food But............

  Food was lovely. Good choice of dishes. The restaurant itself is quite basic, with no table cloths or place mats. This was not a problem for us but may be for others. The one thing which spoiled the evening was the fact we waited nearly half an hour for our change which only arrived after asking 3 members of staff. For this reason i would say the service was poor.We noticed other customers leaving without their change. Perhaps this is standard practice for the owners to gain large tips.
