    This is my local to where I work. They serve a range of the normal pub grub as you would expect but beware...Matinee days at the Mayflower lead to an influx of grumpy old ladies, no tables and a 45 minute wait for a plate of cheesy chips. Also I have yet to encounter a happy member of staff (the new ones can be but they don't stay long). As long as you expect to wait for a long time for lower than average pub grub and to be treated with a less than enthusiastic welcome - you'll be fine. I still end up going there. On the otherhand if you would like a nicer lunch and better service the Orchid Chinese up the road is much better and great for business lunches!
