It is well worth venturing to the "other" end of the High street in Lyndhurst to discover what must surely be the finest evening dining for miles around. This stylish bistro with a distinctly Anglo/French atmosphere where bread is baked fresh daily and ingredients are sourced from local producers, was a real find. The set menu (£14-£18) is truly superb value for money based upon the quality of the food and the fact that you will rediscover your taste buds. Wines are very reasonably priced (£12 upwards). If you do go, you won't be able to stop yourself from returning! Absolutely first class.
