The business says...Howard Lindsay Ltd Clay Pigeon Shooting Ground.
Set in beautiful countryside with expansive views at Medstead, near Winchester in Hampshire, Chalky Hill Clay Pigeon Shooting Ground offers a top quality 50 bird English sporting shoot over six stands that will challenge an experienced hand yet prove achievable for the less experienced gun.
The clay pigeon shooting ground has full facilities including a comfortable barn for use by shooters to shelter from the weather, hot food and drink, ample car parking and toilet.
New shooters will be made very welcome, use of a gun and tuition is available. Please contact us in advance so that we can make sure we have enough instructors and loan guns available.
Clay pigeon shooting commences at 10am and last entries are at 1pm, shooting to be completed by 2pm.
Please note the use of fibre wads is compulsory as is the use of ear defenders (foam ear plugs are available inexpensively at the ground). We recommend that you wear safety glasses whenever you are shooting.
Directions:
The easiest way to find us is through Alresford, hants. Drive down the main market street (Broad Street) and go past 'The Globe on the lake' public house. Just after the lake on your right take the first right turn, signposted Bighton. Stay on this road, you will pass through Bighton village and pass the 'Three Horseshoes' public house, just keep going along this road, two miles after Bighton you will come to a small crossroads, turn left into Chalky Hill (please take care as the road is narrow) the shooting ground is on your left hand side a few hundred yards up the hill. Just look for the Howard Lindsay banner on the barn. There will be 'Clay shoot' direction signs in place on the day. There is ample parking.
