HIPs are dead, but if you want to put your house up for sale you will still need an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).

What's that? Well when you have 10 minutes and are losing the will to live give me a ring and I will explain!

However, on a serious note, if you require an EPC get in touch because I am qualified to produce EPC's and you will almost certainly get a better deal by contacting Oak Grange Energy Asessments direct rather than going thru the estate agent.

We are still here after all the chaos within the financial sector and in particular the mortgage market. Good advice remains as important as ever.

Base rate is still at a record low, if you are currently on your lenders Standard Variable rate enjoy it while you can. We believe we are safe for a few months but perhaps not until the end of the year when it is predicted that rates will begin to rise. Once they do be prepared to move fast as rates go up far more quickly than they come down!
