Dil Se Indian Restau...
8 St. Georges Street,
12.23 miles
very tasty. A little more expensive than some others I have been to but their korma is amazing. Quick service and good spices
Fab food, great buzz to the place... always busy but the food is always top-notch.. plenty of choice and authentic with it. Great staff too!
Booked a birthday meal, upon arrival they had no record of our booking. Place was packed so we were seated by the toilets, which ponged. The poppadums were stale and smashed up, the lighting weird and the food unremarkable. Don't get why this place raved about; Poppadum Express far superior.

I enjoy this Indian restaurant immensely, I have been there many times at lunchtime and in the evening, whereas I would agree that it may not be the best in Southampton, it certainly is one of the best.
i had booked a table for 8.00 on Friday and had confirmation from a member of the staff, we arrived at 7.55 to be told by a member of staff to Wait in a crowded bar area where there was not any chairs, loads of groups were coming in and showed straight to the tables but it seemed because we were just a couple we had to wait, i have never been treated so badly so after 15mins we walked out, i will never recommend Kutis.
Well, its the kind of decor you might expect in an indian restaurant, but the menu was interesting and the food pretty good). I'd certainly go back again!

A large, modern, busy restaurant in a popular area of Southampton. Friendly staff, stunning food and entertainment most nights of the week ie. non cheesey magicians.
It's got terrible purple decor with UV lighting. The food is expensive (and in my opinion much better curry is available elsewhere in Southampton) There is also a strange man dressed in an elaborate purple suit who opens the door for you. The place scares me.
Patey
Definitely worth a visit, does a good lunchtime buffett and a very extensive menu in the evenings, lovely surroundings and good food, although in my opinion not the best in Southampton.
An Indian Restaurant on Southampton's Oxford Street, it's a great place for a night out with lots of friends as they're set up with a large room upstairs and more intimate eating on the ground floor if romantic curry's your thing. If you're having a special event (e.g. Birthday) they're happy to decorate the table for you as well. Definately a good place if you love a good curry with m8s.
