Brief business description

Overlooking the bustling Southampton marina, La Margherita is a convivial Italian restaurant in the popular Town Quay development. Sea views dominate the three distinct dining areas, from the intimate Marina section to the buzzy Top Floor and the informal Conservatory. Cuisine spans gourmet pizza and pasta dishes, to fine aged steaks and fresh seafood. The late-night dance bar offers live music and cocktails. Outside seating with a smoking terrace.

Never again

One of the worst meals and experiences I have had for a long time. A very disappointing, especially as we went here for a 30th birthday party. Firstly we waited 1hour for our starts which was satisfactory and then a further 1hour for the main course. Which out of 15 people, 4 were cold and sent back and one meal was completely forgotten and took further 30 min to arrive. This meal was a folded chicken pizza, which had 4 thumb nail piece of chicken only and the rest spinach. Not even close to what we expected. We spoke to the manager who reduced the bill by a quarter in a firm manner (still took 30min to gain the bill). Never visit again. All facts.

I love southampton and Margherita too

Hello every body. From my point o view, i think that "Margherita Restaurant" is one of the best places where anyone can celebrate everythink and enjoy one of the best night of their life. Nikos and Claire.....

awfull food

the margherita in town quay is the worst place in soto´n to go for luch, the tomatoes of the pizzas are the tomatoes that you cant put in the saladas, because dont look good, or because have been three days in the salads.

la margherita....fabulous

the staff are fabulous (esp helpful on special occasions such as birthdays).....food is excellent....great bar
