Berties Restaurant opened in 1995 in a lovely old "character" building in The Hundred in Romsey. We were fortunate to be able to purchase the adjoining property and added a much needed private room, conservatory dining and additional bedrooms. During the last twenty years a style has evolved which has stood the test of time and has proven to be ever popular and labelled "culinary nostalgia" by the catering press.

Any Specialist Products or Services?Our team of chefs have gained recognition from the AA and Good Food Guide. Bertie's specialises in traditional British fayre but our chefs have blended culinary nostalgia with modern flair and created a very different menu. The menu may feature "Homemade fishcakes with a tomato herb sauce" alongside "Brochettes of monkfish with a lemon and chervil dressing" or perhaps "pork and herb sausages on a bed of mustard mash" alongside "Roasted rack of lamb with figs and a sauce of ginger".
