Grover Motors

I have to start by saying that the previous comment is very untrue. I have been a customer for many years with Grover Motors and have never had a bad thing to say. I am always offered advice and estimated prices before work is completed, this company is reliable and honest and is fully registered and complies with all ministry checks. If in the other comment your friend was so good why didn’t you take it to him first? Grover Motors has been open for over 30 years and has many regular customers that would only agree that the business is professional and trustworthy. I will defiantly continue to use this business for all my cars in the future. I will continue to recommend the business to friends. do not always believe the first thing you read from other people.

My girlfriend booked her car in to this garage on the recommendation of my uncle, however im sure my uncle had never had any issues with his land rover! We were told straight away that her 306 was going to fail because my girlfriend had some dice hanging from the mirror! Unfortunately we thought this was a joke, but how wrong were we!! we wern't offered a pre MOT test/Service, we were just charged £50 for the honour of the car being failed on many counts, including having a faulty middle seatbelt in the back seat (im sure this is not even a requirement of older cars!?). We were informed that the repairs would cost a minimum of £350, then we would have to pay £40 for another MOT test, at which point we declared the vehicle off the road as we could not afford this. A few weeks later, a friend that knew a lot more than us about cars had a look at the car. He said there were only a few things wrong with it, such as the headlights needing re-aligning. We took the car to another garage and they performed a pre MOT test/Service on the car and it passed the MOT, for a total cost of £120!! The only conclusion i can come to is that Mr grover motors saw my girlfriend coming and decided to try and earn that extra holiday to Benidorm. It was a good try, but thankfully we had some good advice from a friend. I would urge you not to use this garage as he is only interested in making as much money as possible out of slightly naive motorists. I would NOT use his services again!!
