• The Cottage Hotel Great value

  We visited mid week off season and got some great deals. The Cottage Hotel is a restful place with beamed ceilings and open fire. I couldn't believe what great value for money it was for a three night stay mid week. In the morning we had a great breakfast. Everything was local. The eggs were creamy. The mushrooms were wonderful and the dry cured bacon superb. Everyone was friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was great. Just 10 minutes walk and we were on the forest, or on the doorstep of a dozen lovely places to eat. Being Mid-week there were superb deals going on in quite a few restaurants. I would visit again.

Warm welcome, friendly staff, wonderful New Forest Breakfasts, outstandingly clean rooms with comfortable beds. Superb location for exploring the beautiful 94,000 acre forest. 14 eateries within 10 minutes walk of the front door.

Charming 17th Century beamed forester's cottage set in heart of Victorian New Forest village of Brockenhurst. Six en-suite rooms all rated as five diamond. Beamed Snug Bar with open fire. New Forest Breakfasts. 90 minutes from London by road or train.

Walking, cycling, horseriding, golfing, sailing, fishing nearby. Also Georgian town of Lymington, Isle of Wight, Beaulieu Motor Museum and Exbury Gardens within easy reach.
