Been to Billy Shears for many years now. Great value for money and brilliant cuts. Places looks old fashioned but hairdressers are fab.
many people don't realise billy shears was the guy that was introduced in the song sargent peppers lonley hearts club band, many also believe that it refers to william cambell who won the paul mccartnet look alike contest and was place on an album cover without anyone noticing, bill or billy is short for william, so it then read billys heres,Anyway great location, stright in and out, very professional service.
Non-appointment cuts available, female staff, discount for students and prices are good.
Feels a bit like an old barber shop, open plan but the haircuts are good value for what you get. Something like £8 for a men's cut, and it's a proper salon cut, not just the usual barber-shop snip 'n shave.
