About Us

Brief description

My name is Debbie Lane. I am the owner of K9cuts.

K9CUTS is a small, friendly dog grooming salon based in Bassett in Southampton we provide very high quality, loving care for your pet during their time with us and will advise you how to maintain your pet's coat and general health.
We cater for most breeds of dog, mixed breeds are very welcome
We have air-conditioning throughout our salon for your pet's comfort.
K9cuts first started in July 1995, over the years we have built up a healthy client base. Most of our work is via recommendation from our existing customers and from local vets, who give us lots of support.
I worked as a veterinary nurse for fifteen years, so am able to check over your pet for any obvious health problems and advise you accordingly.
Our salon has plenty of parking space right outside our shop for your convenience.
The salon is close to both the M27, the M3.

    I would as the owner of k9cuts like to respond to the above review. I have only just realised that you have written a review about our salon and that is the reason for my delay in replying. K9 Cuts has a very good reputation and has been taking care of dogs and their coats for fifteen years most of our clients come from reccomendations. I was unaware of how you felt and would of welcomed you talking to me and still would to see if we can understand this situation. Debbie k9cuts

  • 1 my dog is butchered

    my shih tzu has been going to k9 kutz for a few months each time being returned to me always looking lovelly & cute & pleased with the result,however on tuesday my beautiful dog went for this monthly wash cut & blow dry,about an hour after leavein him there i recieve a a phone call from k9 kutz to tell me that my little doggy is matted around his neck & back end so they'd be chargeing me an extra £3.My dog has never been matted in all his little life! my husband went to pick up our little doggy that day & payed the £39 fee i would not of payed them a penny if i had picked up my dog that day because the state of him was shocking to say the least.He has a chunk of hair in the shape of the shaver blade missing off the top of his paw,under his chin has been shaven to almost bold with a beard in the shape of a wonky 'M',on one side of his neck hes been hacked at with a pair of sissors & the other side is longer,the fur on his ears is all uneven all over, infact all the fur on my dogs body is uneven.He looks a rite mess & every time i look at him i just want to cry for him because he looks such a state.I cannot believe that these professionals would have the nerve to return a doggy back to its owner looking the way my dog does! its shocking.My guesses as to what happened to my doggy that day is that someone seriously messed up with cutting his fur & then thought they'd tell me that my beautiful dog was matted to cover up why my dog looks likes this.I thought about ringing up k9 kutz to complain but that doesnt bring back my dogs fur does it so i thought i'd write a review so that plenty of people can read it before they decide to take their beloved doggy to this place to be butchered. I wouldnt give this place any stars for a rateing!
