Wise Catering

Pros: Great quality food. Polite waiting staff Neg: No communication between staff or clients Had to keep chasing staff to find them at our own wedding. Not what we agreed on desert menu. We used Wise Catering for our wedding in June. There was no communication between us and the caterers except 3 times when we 1st spoke to them 2nd said what we wanted then 3rd paid them and they stated leave it to us we will get it as you want it. We agreed to have a drinks package which meant ½ bottle of wine each for the guests and to have the food brought out for a short time then put back in fridges to bring out later in the night. We still didn’t hear anything from them on the day of the wedding so I went up there a couple of hours before I was due to get married to find them setting the tables up wrong. When I said why aren’t you using table plan there response was “ I wondered what was in the bag” When we got there after the service the table plan was still slightly wrong but the food was great and they took it away as promised after a short time since there was lots left. But it never came back out also we were told that all the wine had be drank which was impossible since half the guests were either driving or drinking beer. My wife had to keep finding the staff since they were no where to be seen to ask for the cake and other things. On pointing theses things out to the manger we were told all food was thrown away yet the bins were empty since the café staff checked for us when we went up to pick the cake up the next day and there was A LOT of food left. When we also pointed out to the manager about the wine his response was “I suppose you can have 6 bottles of wine then”. Could have been great if there was communication between clients, management and there staff but sadly it wasn’t. Won’t use them again.
